How Fan coil unit and FCU thermostat work?

A fan coil system is essentially a complete water system. The fan coil unit consists of two parts, the fan and the coil, and is a device used for heating and cooling. These units require a thermostat to control.

What are the characteristics of the fan coil unit?

1. Each room can independently control the fan coil unit. Setting up the zone system is very simple.

2. You can control it with the fan coil thermostat. Therefore, in each room, in addition to meeting the variable load throughout the day (hotels, hospitals), it is also possible to choose different room set temperatures.

Fan Coil Thermostat - What Does Heating/Cooling Mode Mean?

Since the fan coil system operates in both heating and cooling, heating or cooling is required in summer or winter. This option can be adjusted in the Modes section. In General Life fan coil thermostats, the heating or cooling mode can be manually selected. When heating mode is selected; if the room temperature is lower than the set temperature, the fan coil will start and try to heat the environment. In cooling mode, if the room temperature is higher than the set temperature, the fan coil will start and try to cool the environment.

Where is the Fan Coil Thermostat used?

Fan coil systems used in commercial buildings such as hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, and business centers operate in two ways. These systems, called 2-pipe and 4-pipe, directly affect user comfort and energy savings.
