Precautions in the use of electric floor heating

1. Before installing electric floor heating, it should be confirmed that the capacity of the power supply line and the electricity meter can support the electricity load of the system. For those with insufficient capacity, the capacity should be increased first to meet the electricity demand of the system.

2. For newly built or newly renovated houses, after the system, is installed and the floor decoration is completed, the heating must be performed after the floor is naturally dry (about 28 days). When decorating the ground, pay attention to avoid the electric heating film or heating cable, so as not to damage the system.

3. When the system is started for the first time, the initial heating rate is relatively slow, and the shortest time is 3 hours. If the ground heat storage protection layer is thick, the longest time can be 12 hours; in addition, there must be a heat storage process of the building structure, and the heat storage period is generally It is best not to lower the heating temperature or turn off the system during this period of about a week. During the heat storage period, the operating cost will be higher, especially for new buildings that are put into use in the first year and delivered before the heating season, due to the water content in the building structure. It is relatively high and has not been dried yet. Within two weeks of starting heating, the power consumption is relatively high. The operating cost on the first day can reach more than 5 times the operating cost under normal conditions, and it will decrease day by day after the building is dry. to normal. At this time, if the room is not in use, the temperature can be adjusted to 5 ~ 10 ℃.

4. When heating, the thermostat switch should be adjusted to the "on" position, and then the ground temperature and room temperature should be adjusted. First, set the temperature to a lower temperature (3°C higher than the base temperature), and wait for the heating cable to run for a period of time. , then slowly increase the temperature until you are comfortable.

5. When going out for a long time, pay attention not to completely shut down the system in the bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms with a water supply and drainage. The room temperature should be set at about 5 °C to prevent the water pipes from freezing and cracking.
